Buit you can calculate for the project you select.

You must plan all left work, planning for one single week may have unexpected impact on planning for weeks after.

Yes, you can plan one or several or all projects at once.
For instance project leader can replan all his projects in one click.

These dates only change visibility limit. it's only for display.

Absolutely not.

We use the pool, and on Friday, we change in the assignment field the pool by a human resource contained in the pool. So the calculate of the project will not impact the future. This Because we need for the next week (in the report view) a visibility on what human resources have to do, and over the following weeks, the pool charge.
And do to this, we need to change the assignment fiel, and calculate projet one by one. Its a lot of work.
But ok, its not possible to choose only projets on one week precisely

On utilise le pool, et le vendredi, on change dans le champ assignation le pool par une ressource humaine contenue dans le pool. Donc le calcule du projet n'impactera pas le futur. Car il nous faut sur la semaine suivante (dans la vue rapport) une visibilité sur ce que les ressources humaines ont a faire, et sur les semaines suivantes, ce que le pool a comme charge.

Planning with a pool will insure one of the resources of the pool is available to work on the activity, but it may be not the one you selected as "human" resource.
So new planning may be different, and it's not sure that, even if pool could do the work on the activity the next week, the selected real resource will do so.

No problem to change the assignment fiel, because this change is done by a team coordinator, and he knows who can work or not on activities.

We have to wait 10-20seconds to calculate one projet. So its because we would select only projets for the next week... If we calculated all the projets for next and following weeks, we will have to wait 5 hours, and its not possible.

- monitor your server and try and have it run a bit faster
- use automatic planning calculation that will run in background (differential will plan only projects "that have changed")

We dont have any server problems, CPU, RAM etc OK. Slow DB peraps... Its because we would like "purge" DB.

Automatic planning is defined in Global Parameters > Automation

I configured the automatic calcul, in Global Parameters > Automation.

Then i created a "fictive" activity with charge...

But nothing appened, the automatic calcul doens't work, its normal ?

i have made a mistake somewhere ?

You defined a calculation only once a day at 0:10.
Also check that CRON is running (on admin page)
