We need to change real work allocation unit.
today, we are using "days". We would like to change to hour. so my question is.
what's happend on real work already set in days in our projects ?
is it possible to change this value without issue ?
what will happen to the projects for which the charges are already made in days, and for which future charges will be made in hours ?
could you help me to see more clearly?

HI,
You can modify real work allocation unit from days to hours.
To do this, go in global parameters screen, section work time then go down to unit for work.
Conversion is done automaticly. I suggest you to do this operation, just and if possible before the begining of the project, to be sure that everybody use the same base of work allocation all along. 😉

is it possible to charge more than the number of hour in a day. I mean if i set 8h by day. is it possible for a ressource to charge 9h for a day ?

you can change the number of hour per day as you want, nine for instance.
Also, if your resource works 9 hours and not 8 as planned , you can impute 9 h on his imputation time table, a red color will indicate this anomaly at the bottom of the column.
As well, no worries about conversion.

Yes, you can input more that 8hours per day even if you define 8 hours per dayn exactly as you can enter more thant 1 day per day if you enter work in days.
But planning will always paln only 1 day per day, so 8 hours per day
