[#561]

Hello Everybody,

Could you help me , please ? In version 2.1.1, when i was administrator, i had acces on all "real work allocation" for all ressources. But now with the version 2.2.3, impossible to have acces on real work allocation for each ressource, it's blocked, could explain me this news on this version, please ? And if it's possible to have the same acces as version 2.1.1, please ?

Thank you for your help

Best regards,

Benoit

In V2.2, there is a new constraint : users can only acces Real Work Allocation for Project they are assigned to.
There is an issue in V2.2, because Admin should see all projects, and don't. It is fixed in V2.3.

Do you think, it's not dangerous for me to update in 2.3, because 2.3 isn't a stable version, please ?

Do you use an IRC chanel to discuss in live, please ?

No issue has been pointed out on V2.3.0.
So it will soon becone the new stable release.

i've have just notice somes strange things in "change history".

spiderjn, can you detail the "strange things in "change history" ?
As V2.3.0 mostly concerns Resource Gantt Planning, I'm affraid what you noticed comes from an older version.

Hi,

I really don't understand how you got the history you get.
The most strange is the ID change.
There is no way in Project'Or RIA to change an ID...

Did you create your projcts by copy ?

Hi Benoit,

may be this helps:

V2.2.3 is base for V2.3. V2.2.3 is stable. Your risk of instability is more or less in all the fields, where V2.3 is modified - see history log.

If you make carefully dumps of you data, you can migrate to 2.3. If there is an error which has an impact to you, then you can step back to 2.2.3 easily. I did this several time while I tested new instable versions.

At least Projectorria has such a high quality, you will not have a showstopper or complete inoperative system.

I hope this helps.

Klaus
