When wishing to create a next version an existing document, I have to download the document, edit it outside projeqtor and then upload the new version in Projeqtor when it is "finished".
In my team several persons would appreciate if would be possible to perform the whole activity inside projeqtor.
The workflow would be
- find the existing document
- indicate (via a new button "create new version") the creation of a new version with the status "draft"
--- the tool is duplicating the last version of the document
- edit the document via your favorite office package, the new version of the document is stored on the storing locations of Projeqtor.
- While the document is in status draft, if can be modified.
- Once the document is ready, the owner of the document is indicating the document as "qualified" (or any other status)
- the approval cycle if applicable for the new version of the document can now start.
This would allow to manage on the same place the full live of the document, creating the needed visibility on the documents in draft.
Hi Babynus,
The proposition of MWN6700 is really an excellent approach.
This ensures more effective monitoring of the production of documents, which are often very significant deliverables in projects
