Just installed Project'Or RIA with no problems and am starting to experiment with it.
The first thing I tried was to send an Alert to the employees I set up - doesn't work.
I've searched here and other places and don't see any reference to this problem - so maybe I missed a switch somewhere?
I'm using V3.3.2 Dojo 1.8.0 (29458)
When I click the icon to "create a new alert" I get nothing.
As admin I can send an internal alert from the Administration tab that works just fine - but not from the page I get by clicking the Alert button (!).

After rereading you post, I thing I misunderstood your issue.
Did you try to create an alert from screen in menu => Tools => Alert ?
Then you got wrong.
This screen only displays generated alerts, and cannot generate a new one.
To test it, you can try in the Administration screen 😉
Also have a look at => Parameters => Controls & Automation => Indicators
It may be what you're looking for. :woohoo:
