When allocate a resource in manual planning the granularity is half day.
However if hours are selected to count the amount of work, the hours count is not coherent with the time line.
Moreover the manual planning granularity should be hours and not half days.

It is for planning, half day granularity should be much enough.
Management in hours (or 1/10 or days for thoose who manage planning in hours) would be technically a real mess, would lead to bad performance on this feature, and we would loose the simplicity for the input.
