In 8.4.0., re-calcing the plan causes failures of many Activities which cannot be scheduled. The error is: "There is ... days left to plan after resource allocation end date"
After analyzing it, I found that the problem stems from that resource allocation to projects does not get inherited properly.
Normally, a person/resource is allocated to a project if he is allocated to that project or to a parent.
However, in 8.4.0., for a resource to be properly allocated to a project for planning, he needs to be allocated to that project directly, and to every parent on the chain.
I do not think it is intentional.
Does anyone else see this phenomenon?
