is there a possibility to set the progress planning for some activites standardly on “must not start before validated date”?
We tried to change the default planning mode of the activity type but when we planned new activities with this type, the planning Progress is still “as soon as possible”. But we need to fill in the validated start date.
Strangely enough after the change we had some problems with other activity types (which we didn’t change). It seems the acitivities also are planned with “must not start before validated date”. We cann’t make new activities or copy projects without a validated start date.

Which version are you using ?
(I think it is an issue fixed on V6.3.2)

Hello,
we updated to Version V6.3.5.
Now I changed the 'Default planning mode' at one activty to 'must not start before validated date'. But now we still have the Problem that after that all Projects which doesn't (!) have this activity in the plan want's to have a validated start date. Can you explain me why? We have some Projects which don't have an validated start date and shall start as soon as possible and some which have a validated start date. I thougt I can manage this with the different types of activites?!
