Hi,

We have lost all photos added for each user.

Is it possible to restore photos from previous version, and avoid to selec each photo for each user ?

Is the photo are located in projeqtor folder strucuture ? Where ?

Thanks in advance.

This is an issue that possibly comes from incorrect migration method.
I think you installed new version in parallel to previous one, and pointed database to this one.
So some existing files may not have been moved...

Good way to migrate is to overwrite existing code with new one (after some backup of course).

To retreive your photos, you need to retreive the content of folder ../files/thumbs

Regards.

Many thanks about reply.

I see the problem. We have renamed the old projeqtor directory (Project_5.3.3), and after we have extracted the new version, and of course we have lost this folder because this folder was in renamed directory.

Which kind of existing files, I need to restore ?

Where are located the other file ?

Many thanks for reply.

Fred

the folders you have to retreive :
../files/* (all folders)
../model/custom
../plugin/* if you installed plugins

But my advise would be to try and retreive correct way :
1) disconnect all users
2) overwrite New with Old (avoid reconnection of users to avoid backward migration)
3) overwrite New with new code from zip
That's all. :woohoo:
Much more easy than trying to retreive all folders, and you're sure to forget none.
