Hosting

Secure your data

Installing ProjeQtOr may require skills and infrastructure that aren’t always available internally.

With our SaaS offering, you immediately benefit from a high-performance, operational, and maintained instance, without any technical constraints. Your dedicated database is backed up daily and remains recoverable at any time: you thus retain complete control of your data, without the risk of dependency.

Subscription-based service that allows you to benefit from a ProjeQtOr instance in SaaS (Software As A Service) mode without worrying about installation and maintenance.

This service includes all installation and technical maintenance of the instance.

Except for the “dedicated server” level of the offer, no direct access to the database can be provided to the customer.

  • Restore in case of major failure.

On-demand upgrade to a new community version

These upgrades are included in the pricing plans, at no extra cost.

All plugins distributed by ProjeQtOr are available for hosted instances, at no extra cost.

  • Upon simple request, the desired plugins are made available on the client’s instance (an operation by the instance administrator is then required to finalize the deployment of the plugin).

Support

ProjeQtOr offers free support through its website forum. However, this community support does not guarantee a response time, and discussions are conducted only in English.

To ensure reliable and responsive support, we offer a professional support service with a commitment period. This service covers ad-hoc technical and functional assistance for the entire duration of your subscription.

  • A dedicated project will be opened within the ProjeQtOr track database to submit and monitor requests.

  • The number of users authorized to contact support is limited to 10% of users.

  • The client will specify the information of users authorized to contact support.

  • A response time of 1 business day is guaranteed.

  • A resolution of critical issues (solution or workaround) is guaranteed within 3 business days.

  • Critical fixes will be delivered via patches.

  • Other fixes will be integrated into a future community version or patch.

  • Access to the subscription service for automatic updates is available.

Subscription

ProjeQtOr is updated every three months with a new, evolving version, enriched with interim fixes as needed.
Our team fixes issues as they are discovered and releases a patch version as soon as a major bug or numerous minor improvements are available. Thanks to the current quality of the software, these patches are becoming increasingly rare: some useful improvements may therefore take some time to reach you.

With a subscription, you benefit from fixes as soon as they are validated and stable, without waiting for the next version.

  • Displaying this message does not block any ProjeQtOr functionality. This is just a reminder for users who may not always be aware that they are using an Open Source product that is funded solely by subscriptions to its services.

  • Daily services, which can be performed remotely or on-site:
    For remote technical support, SSH access is generally required (to be defined according to the scope of the support).
    For remote functional support, access is provided via any available means (video conferencing).
    For on-site interventions, the logistical resources will be provided by the client, as needed.
  • Days are defined as standard business days of up to 7 hours, for example: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
  • Intervention dates are scheduled based on the client’s constraints and the availability of the technicians.

On-demand evolution

Numerous enhancements are planned on the ProjeQtOr development roadmap.

If you wish, you can sponsor an enhancement to ensure its early delivery. Your company may also have specific or confidential needs. In that case, you can order a custom enhancement.

  • On-demand development work is preceded by a quote, based on a need expressed by the client.
    Providing a quote is non-binding for the client until it has been approved.

  • The expression of need can be very simple: email, reference to an existing ticket in the roadmap, etc.
    The quote will detail the need and how it will be implemented in the application.

  • Given the minimal requirements for describing the need, only the quote serves as the definitive description of the requested development.

  • Work begins upon receipt of the order validating the quote (which can be summarized as the signed quote).

  • There are two types of development, depending on whether or not they contribute to the community: “private” or “community” developments.
  • Updates are not included in the community version.

  • Therefore, it is no longer possible to migrate to community versions to benefit from fixes and enhancements.
    Integration of community updates and fixes can be ordered later (upon request), as can an upgrade (merge to a community version).

  • The quote will, where possible, include an option to configure the update or implement it as a plugin to overcome this limitation and make the custom version compatible with future community versions.
  • The updates are included in the community version.

  • The delivered version has then the ability to migrate to future community versions to benefit from community fixes and enhancements.

  • Because of the contribution to the community, this type of evolution benefits from a reduced price compared to private evolutions.

  • The choice between community and private evolution is defined in the quote, but the client can explicitly request a private evolution. Evolutions that are too specific to the client’s needs cannot be included in the community version.

The User Qlub

The Qlub of users is designed to create a link between the different users of ProjeQtOr as well as with the ProjeQtOr company team.

It allows users to share their experience using ProjeQtOr, to learn about upcoming features and new functionalities, but also to actively participate in the roadmap by suggesting future developments and prioritizing the tickets they want.

ProjeQtOr’s project management coverage is already among the most comprehensive on the market.

To go even further, we’ve developed several plugins that allow you to customize your instance and tailor it even more to your specific needs.

  • Additional plugins are available to extend functionality for specific needs. These terms apply only to plugins distributed by ProjeQtOr on its own websites (projeqtor.org, projeqtor.com and projeqtor.net).
  • Purchasing a plugin allows the purchaser to install it on one production instance and one test/validation instance (non-operational instance).
  • Plugins are not distributed as open source. They are distributed as proprietary software. ProjeQtOr retains ownership of the plugins it distributes.
  • Modifying a plugin without the explicit consent of ProjeQtOr is prohibited.
  • Distributing (or redistributing) a plugin is prohibited.
