You'll find some help in the user manual (F1), but you'll need information about smtp server that only your provider can give you.

So I ran the help online but to no avail !!
I'm starting to wonder if I'm not going to drop projeqtor: unsure:

My problem is all the same: I created a user who must (according to what I understood) receive his login and login password.
That one is not to be done !
So I went into the global settings and I saw that everything was blank in 'mail sending'.
I deduce that fill the empty fields. Ok but what about all this? (Email from the administrator, original email in emails, mail reply in emails, name of the sender, smtp server (localhost), smtp port: 25, smtp account name: smtp account password 🙂 etc., etc
I have no skill and when I contact ovh, he answers me that they do not maintenance of projeqtor !!!

Here I am without answer and without help and I am only in the second stage and already blocked !! (The 1st being the on-line installation)

Sending email requires a smtp server.
On hosted platform, it is your provider that hosts the sptm server, to be able to send emails.

Of course OVH will not maintain your projeqtor instance (this is what we do through our hosting service 😉 ).
But OVH must provide you the information you have to configure in projeqtor (I guess you did not receive the correct answer from OVH because you did not ask the good question) :
- smtp server (something like smtp.ovh.com or localhost ?)
- smtp port (possibly 25)
- possibly protocole to use (smtp, ssl or tls). If it's not smtp, then you must specify if before smtp host like this : tls;//your_smtp_server.ext
- account to use (most possible your OVH account)
