In the entity "project", the dropdown "is sub-project of" shows ALL projects visible to the user.
Is it possible to set a filter to show only projects of a specific type?
In our specific use case, we have many projects but only few can be selected as "father projects", hence, displaying only those in the dropdown could improve a lot the user experience.
In case the feature is not available, is it possible to propose it as Evolution?

indeed we can't filter the lists in this way.
A workaround can be implemented by using the selection in the project's selector : check only the projects that interest you and you will only see those in the drop-down list.
On the other hand, being able to filter a drop-down list by parent project or by type is not planned and I don't know if it is technically feasible.
But you can post your requests for development in the right part of the forum by explaining precisely what you expect.
These proposals are regularly studied and added to the application if they prove useful for the community!
In fact, it should be possible with restriction of types per profile.
You should be able to define that some profiles (possibly all) cannot view items of a given type.
