Project does not adhere to dates provided and determines it's own (random?) planning schedule
Some projects behave others not
This project simply will not allow it to be planned as we are attempting to plan it.
It should display starting already
Here are the projects and sub projects...
Needless to say it is taking effort away from doing the project it's self fighting with the project management software.

ProjeQtOr is effort driven. It means you have to define tasks (activities in ProjeQtOr) to build the WBS of your projects.
Then you assign resources on activities (tasks) for a given work.
Planning is computed to take into account availability of resources that may work on different projects.
The "valided" dates your entered is just the baseline of your projects, not the defined dates to start/stop.
ProjeQtOr is not a tool to "draw" a planning but to "compute" a planning with many constraints.
