Hi
I'm playing with Rate Allocation on projects and Rate assignment on activities.
I'm wondering if Rate is only an information about availability or if Rate is used by planning calculation ?
If Rate is used by calculation, can you explain how ?

Yes, rate is used by planning calculation.
You should read "Allocations section" and "Assignment section" in our user guide, press F1.
