Good morning,
Sorry i dont speak english. So i use google translate !
User of ProjeQtor V9.5.5 I have correctly customized my interface. I have happened to activate by mistake a menu or a display that I did not want, so my question is as follows: is it possible for me to save my personalized interface and reload it if I modify it by mistake in order to always have a backup? Is it a localizable file and if so where can I find it to keep or make a copy? Waiting for your help, Thank you in advance.
Bonjour,

Thank you for your suggestion but it is not my need. I recall my need: It is to "save the configuration of my workspace" with the right settings, shortcuts, menus and displays in order to integrate this view into the settings of a new account so that this new user does not is not setting it; how should I do it ?
the interface configuration settings are adjustable in the global parameters and they are applied to all users.
On the other hand, each user can change some settings that will take precedence over yours (user parameters).
In the latest version of ProjeQtOr you can also arrange list boxes at your convenience and assign them to specific users.
For menus, each profile can have a different menu. It all depends on the rights you give on the screens.
Thank you for the information. When a user connects for the first time, he adjusts his interface and the backup is made in his profile if I understand correctly. If I give a new user the same rights as me, how do I add the same rules to my interface so that this customization does not have to be done during his first connection?
@Arkhanje : no answer for me ?
If you are administrator, you can change some default behaviours (colors, language) in the global parameters.
@Babynus : ok but my question is not to know how to modify the global parameters since I know how to do that but it concerns to know which file of my profile to copy in order to paste it in the profile of another user so that he can find the same personalization of his working space; Do you understand my question?
@Arkhanje : no answer for me ?
Of course yes ! but I remind you that just like our solution, the forum is a completely free assistance but, without guarantee of time for the answers.
So you have to do like everyone else and take your troubles patiently! ![]()
When a user logs in for the first time, he adjusts his interface and the backup is done in his profile
Yes, with his profile, with specific acces rights, determined layouts and with global parameters, everything depends on what you want to see and have people see, do and have people do.
If I understood correctly. If I give a new user the same rights as me, how can I add the same rules to my interface so that this personalization does not have to be done during his first connection?
If you have set the settings correctly for a profile, say yours, which would be Manager, whether for access to screens, reports, access to data, screen layouts...
Each user who will be assigned this profile when created will see exactly the same as you.
the things he can change on his own after logging in are the colors of the interface, the language, the favorites or a few unimportant display settings.
