Hello,
We are starting using Documents.
We noticed the 2 possibilities for documents: Folders and "Document Types" but we find the same classification in two of them.
My question: Why is there this double classification?
Document Type
Contract
Management
Meeting Review
Follow-up
Financial
Need expression
General Specification
Detailed Specification
General Conception
Detail Conception
Test Plan
Installaton manual
Exploitation manual
User manual

Type is the type of documents.
Folder is where it is stored (hierarchically).

You can have documents of same type on several folders : for instance if you have P1/Contract and P2/Contract, you'll have contracts on the two folders.
You can have documents of different types on same folder : you can have offers, contacts, validation forms or minutes for contractual review on folder P1/Contract
