You should enter
https://www.google.com
We'll add an improvement to force http
With the https:// I have another error.
Example with https://glpi-project.org/fr/, but same error for https://www.google.fr

Not opening in pop-up is due to security constraints of target : it does not allow display in a iFrame set with Javascript (to avoid cross site scripting leaks)
