Hello,
I'm working on version 5.1.3
I have closed some activities, tickets, milestones and projects, and I can't view something when I check "Show closed items".
I find the ticket 1650, and I think I have the same problem.
Thanks
Florent
But ticket #1650 is fixed since 5.0.0...
Please check for errors in log file and in browser console.

I change level of log to 4, and I don't have any ERROR. And in Browser console web, i don't have error.
My profile is "Project Manager" and I'm project manager on each project.
Do you need some log file ?
I tried to test with an development environnement in 5.2.2 version and I have the same problem.
I really cannot reproduce on V5.2.3 (under developement).
Maybe you can try on V5.2.3 when it is available (very soon)

Hi,
i found this subject, and i have the same issue in V5.2.5.
In my case, i have "admin rights" and I see closed elements of closed project correctly by using "archive mode".
But my Projects leaders, who have not the same rights, does not see closed éléments on closed projects.
So they can see closed éléments on open projects, and they can see closed project by using archive mode. But in this mode all screen are empty : task, milestone, documents, etc... are not visible.
an idea ??
thank's a lot Babynus.
This issue is fixed on V5.3.3
I'm not sure it works well when closed project is a sub-project of an open project.
For example in demo today :
Project "Projet QAP" is open
Sub-project "Nouveau Projet 1" is closed
From project list, if i just check "show closed items", "Nouveau Projet 1" does not appear.
The only way i found is also to :
- to check "show closed items" in project selector parameter
- choose "Projet QAP" in project selector
- check "show closed items" in project list
Thanks
- to check "show closed items" in project selector parameter
Yes, this option, also called the "archive mode" is mandatory to see items of closed projects.
However, if project is not a sub-project (for example in demo "MyProject"), we don't need to check "show closed items" in project selector parameter.
Why this difference between projects and sub-projects?
It is because of the affectation.
Project leaders have access rights to projects they are affected to.
But when a project is closed, affectation is also closed, so project leader "looses" access rights on project. To retreive rights, he needs to set the "archive mode".
For sub-project, rights may be inherited from affectation on top project.
So if top project is not closed, affectation is still active, and archive mode is not required to see data of a closed sub-project.
Thanks for these detailed explanations.
