with V11.1.5, i create some mileStone type.
When creating one new type, i get confirmation popup with id for new type (normal).
Click "OK", then a new popup comes with the new Id.
And so on...
List is not updated with new types...
If i click "Cancel", it stop but i can't select another type or other, i get the message "modification have not been saved..."
Click Not, list is not updated.
Force list update, lot of "new type" are created (see below).
In this example, i modify id #202 and #203 for my use but initialy there are with "ARR".

We can't reproduce or maybe we dont understand the issue.
can you give us more information like a step by step example for reproduce this.

Create a new type of milestone :
Name ARR
Save
Get popup to confirm "new milestone #201 created" (almost, i don't remember the right message).
Click "OK"
Get a new popup "new milestone #202 created"
Click "OK"
etc...etc...
Get a new popup "new milestone #206 created"
Click "cancel"
Popup close but list is not updated.
Relaod list, i find 6 milestones with name "ARR" and id ~#2201 to 206
After that, i rename two of them because i what 3 new milestone type.
But it is not right, and i need to delete id#204, 205 and 206

Unfortunately, no one can reproduce this issue. It doesn't matter which browser or screen you create it on.
What pop up are we talking about? We don't have any validation pop-ups on milestone types... maybe a capture of this pop-up would help.
Is there anything in the logs? in the browser console? Have you tried a consistency check?
