We are preparing some small customizations of the app and wanted to use the lang.xls file to handle string translations.
Is that still the recommended way to manage strings ? I have the impression that the file in the SVN repository is old!
(note: I'm asking the "best practice" because i'd like to share with the community once it's finished, if there's interest).

We don't use lang.xls file.
We now have an application that generated lang.js files.
You must now change direcly change lang.js file.
If you submit a patch, it will be included so that we integrate new translations in the application
