When assigning an activity to a resource, man can use a drop-down menu to choose a resource. Also all other info has to be filled out manually. However, when a resource is chosen, the function and costs of this resource are known. (and probably most other fields too)
Still, these fields have to be filled out manually.
Suggestion:
I would fill out the other known information in the fields automatically when choosing a resource.
This reduces the time needed for assigning a resource, and is less vulnerable for mistakes.
It is exactly what is done, whenever it is possible :
- when resource is selected, if the "main function" is set for this resource, it is automatically selected.
- when the function is selected, the last cost for this function is fetched automatically.

I see my mistake. I did not fill out the function for the resource. Now it is behaving like I expected. 🙂
