Version 5.4.2. In Activity, when Project Manager is assigning activity to different resources, an Assignment dialog opens up. I am facing some trouble in this dialog:-
Expected behaviour: When I change value for "Resource", corresponding value of (main) "Function" should be automatically populated.
Actual behaviour: The main function does not always auto-populate. It shows function for some resources, and does not show it for some other.
The value of main function is defined in the "Resources" tab under "Environment Parameters" section -- am I right?
If this is right, then I have correctly defined functions for all resources. So not sure why it is fetching values for some, and failing for some other. Any ideas??
Also, in Resources page, I think the "Profile" and "Main Function" can have different values. Is this right? Can you please throw some light on the usage of these two parameters?

I don't see any reason why behavior could be different.
But maybe, functions could be defined (for cost definition) and possibly main is not.
If main function is really defined for all, behavior should be the same. It it's not, please check for errors in log file or in browser console.

Profile will define access rights, funtion will define cost.
