How do we save (back up) the various settings at environment, project and user levels, and how do we apply them back?
I came across this need as follows:
We are trying out ProjeQtor.
We have painstakingly entered all data for 85 resources, and created several profiles and set parameters for them.
Then we decided to allow everyone to create dummy projects and play with them, so that they can become familiar with the software.
But then when wanted to delete this junk data, ProjeQtor does not allow us to delete some projects, especially where the resources have entered some "left" work hours.
This left-over data may create problems for us.
So we thought of a way out: Simply install a new copy of ProjeQtor, and copy all the users in it, along with all settings.
The start all REAL projects in this new copy.
For this trick to work, we need to know how to save the users and settings, and how to import them in a new copy of ProjeQtor.
In sime screens, Export as CSV option is provided.
But its counterpart (import) option is not provided.
You can export as CSV and then import from CSV (in Tool menu)

I am unable to export any data or settings; either from the tools menu or from the relevant screen itself.

Export is available on each screen (project, activity, ...)
