Assigned work, real work, left work and planned work (and corresponding costs) are consolidated (summed up) on parent items, so that project sums up total work for all sub_project, activities and sub-activitie.
But up to 4.3, validated work was not.
It was designed this way because in most cases, validated work of elementary tasks is not known. Only validated work for main tasks (phases) is.

So on V4.4, you now can choose to consolidate validated work to parents.
THere is a new parameter in global parameter designed for this.
Possible values are :
- never : do not cosolidate
- only if set : will consolidate (sum) only if sub-items value is not null, so that existing value is not erased by non existing values
- always : will always consolidate from lowest items to top (so may erase some data)
Default value is 'never', to preserve existing behavior.
