I would like to create a reference project, to use as a basis for my other projects.
When I copy the project I set up, and change the project start date, none of the linked activities update their dates to match.
I would like, when I enter the start date, the complete schedule of the project, that is to say with all the activities contained, that each step is updated according to its duration, and that the deadlines are automatically recalculated with the new dates corresponding to the progress of the project. Possible ???

Yes it is. You should take a look at the online manual of the application and read carefully the part about planning.
You will find detailed information on how to plan and calculate your schedule, which modes or options to use, etc.

i use template for project and, to set the right date on it, i start every template by fixed milestone (named "start").
Then, afetr copy, i just have to set the start date of firts milestone to get right calculation for activities and further milestone (if they are in "flaoting milestone" mode).
