There is no such feature.
Only admin can reset password.
Please note that passwords are encrypted with non bijective method in the database, so it is not possible to send password by email.

Idea to provide "reset password" feature has been recorded as Ticket #1805.
Of course, this will only be available for non LDAP connections.

My idea is not request that Administratore or another person make that, but develop some mechanism to generate a unique Token, that will be sent by email, making possible for the User to reset his password Alone.

Many times you have Administrator in vacation, or in business trip, and thus unavailable to reset password for users.

That blocks the access to the platform which is absurd, it is a feature that is being offered by almost any platform, for project management.

Can you please give it some more priority ?

So many things to do, so little time... B)

New features have to be ordered to draw the road map.
And this order is defined by ProjeQtOr team with basis criteria :
- paid requests first 😉
- own needs seconds
- most requested third
- then others .... with priority to requests that will potentially attract new users
This can generate dissatisfaction, but remember that ProjeQtOr is a free product, not sponsored by any big company.
So development capacity is limited.

If you need it quickly, why not sponsor this evolution ?
You'll get it on next release and you will reward ProjeQtOr team for this software you use 🙂

We're talking about enterprise users : it's not very hard to define backup for admin 👿
Other solution is to connect to LDAP :woohoo:
