I want to know if the machines where ProjeQtOr
is going to be installed, should have special performance
specifications, as Ram, as Operating System, or specific
resources, because I have been testing ProjeQtOr, and now
I know is possible to do great things but others is not possible,
for example ProjeQtOr is failing me in reports generating and
showing information because sometimes show one things and
other times show others.
Technical configuration depends on needs : how many users will connect simultaneously.
For instance, I had ProjeQtOr work on my mobile phone (LG G3) with Palapa Web Server.
Not very performant, but working, and cool for testing.
For basic configuration for up to 10 concurrent users :
2 GB RAM
2 CPU (if PHP and MySql stand on same machine)
OS : whatever you want
For high traffic up to 1000 concurrent users :
8 GB RAM
4 High speed CPU (>3GHz, 64 bits)
OS : Linux
Rapid Drives : at least 7200 RPM HDD or better SSD drives (1GB is muck enough without attachments...)
=> 2 times : one machine for PHP, one machine for MySql, and with GB link beetwen both (without any firewall inbetween)
