I see that this question has been asked a number of times before but having followed all of the advice, I am still at a loss.
I have installed ProjeQtOr on a Centos 7 server and upon first run, I get the dreaded "incorrect value for 'Log file name', cannot write to such a file : check access rights".
Advice given to others states that the "files" folder needs to be writable by the apache account on Centos. So I set the files directory (and all subfolders) to owned and writable by apache and still got the error.
I then went so far as to open them up completely (chmod 777), as seen here:
4 drwxrwxrwx. 10 apache apache 4096 Apr 2 21:22 .
4 drwxrwxrwx. 12 apache apache 4096 Apr 2 21:23 ..
0 drwxrwxrwx. 3 apache apache 35 Apr 2 21:22 attach
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 22 Apr 2 21:22 config
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 35 Apr 2 21:22 cron
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 6 Apr 2 21:22 images
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 6 Apr 2 21:22 import
4 -rwxrwxrwx. 1 apache apache 1256 Apr 2 21:22 index.php
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 22 Apr 2 21:22 logs
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 22 Apr 2 21:22 report
0 drwxrwxrwx. 2 apache apache 6 Apr 2 21:22 thumbs
[root@localhost files]#
I still got the same error message. I don't know how to open the permissions any further than this, so I am at a loss.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks.
