I usually do not use ProjeQtOr very much, but my users do quite a bit.
They claim that they used to see the Links in an earlier version, under every activities, but nothing is showing up.
If you could help me out on this would be great.

Yep, this is same source.
Customization that brings issue.
This may happen if you use older version of Screen Customization plugin (or self customized file)
Chek that fileds definition fits the carrect order, finishing with
public $_sec_ToDoList; public $_SubTask; public $_sec_Link; public $_nbColMax=3; public static $_customFields=array(
Fix fields order if not correct.
