Hello,
can you please tell me what's the best opportunity to set a project 'on Hold'? Our requirement is that the resources should remain assigned to the project but be free to do other projects. As soon as the (on hold) project restarts and is re-scheduled,the resources should be assigned and planned for this project again.

Try to close resources allocation to project.

Run planning calculation for the project with planning satr date in the future (for instance in 2020).
Then check "fix planning".
