Hello Babynus,

I. Questions on the dashboard of Projects and Tasks (Page "Today"):

Question 1: Is there a bug on updating the "dashboard"? Or may be I did not quite understand the mode of operation?
- Column "Progress": When a project / activity / task is assigned to a resource, the number of days remaining is always 0, while the task is assigned to a single resource and that the project has a duration of 30 days.

Question 2: Why is the list of projects is not clickable? it would be much more convenient ...

Question 3: In the French translation, what that means "portée des nombres décomptés" ("range of numbers counted") ? How to change / customize this subtitle ?

II. Question about the types of tasks ("Tasks assigned to", "responsible of", "issuer or requestor of" ):

When there are multiple tasks / activities, the current presentation of three tables of "tasks" seems to display as "duplicate" the same tasks on different categories.

Question 4: For readability, is it not better to summarize in a single table with tabs or check boxes? in order to let everyone see what is important for him ... or as desired.

******************************************
PS
Congratulations Babynus about the latest developments, particularly the integration of requirements management / test ... returning from a trip abroad, I have not yet had time to really look at these new features in versions 2.4.x.

Work is not calculatged from delay. In most cases it is the opposite. You must enter the assigned work. Then lest work is set to assigned, and planned also (brecause planned = real + left)

It can be an improvement, you're right.

Question 3: In the French translation, what that means "portée des nombres décomptés" ("range of numbers counted") ? How to change / customize this subtitle ?

On this projects summary, you have green and red parts. Red = to do. Green = Done + Closed. So Red + Green = Total. You get these figures when you move the mouse over the colored parts. The "range of numbers counted" refers to radio buttons : "To do", "Not closed" , "All", and will affect the numbers displays in the board.
You can change the caption in /tool/i18n/nls/fr/lang.js. But this will be overwritten by next version.
If you propose some better caption, it could be included in a next version...

No, because each board has a specific target, and users may collapse the boards they don't want to see.
Moreover, there is an improvement planned to be able to select the boards to display in the today screen (and maybe add more displayable components).

Hello Babynus,

Question 5: On the dynamic update of a newly created project.

Why the dynamic update of new Projects is not a priority ?

It is truly a very important need to visualize immediately the new projects and new tasks. Thus when working with remote teams, the other Team members do not visualize the new projects and tasks assigned to them. Because you have to disconnect and reconnect.

People are never sure that the new project / activity / task assigned emergency is considered by the recipients. Members feel a little uncertain of what they are asked ... precisely when there are peaks of activities, or emergencies requiring changes / additions in the projects.

Thank you in advance.

Only new projects or change in access rights requires disconnect / reconnect to get the correct visibility. When adding tasks or changing any other item, users visualize real time data.

The reason about project management is a technical point of view : calculation of access rights to projects, including automatic dispatch of rights to sub-projects, is quite heavy. So it is done once on connection and stored in user session.
Then when change occurs, only the user doing the change knows it has been done. There is no simple technical way to dispath the change to all users.
So it is a deal between performance and real time view.

This point of view has been considered as acceptable on conception because projects are not created very often, and project duration (should last several weeks or months) fits with this process.
