For a meeting, it means that resource PM_MLT cannot attend the meeting.
(planning calculation cannot plan work because resource is already busy on another task / or meeting / or has real work registered for this day)

Ok that's right, PM_MLT is already busy so how can I plan a meeting? Is it not possible during implementation process? altough meeting has a priority 1, the task is not insert between two taskss ; because you cannot predict all meeting.

Mettings are always planned before other activities.
But if resource is already busy on another project this may be blocking. In this case, you must find a way to plan together both projects (the project of the meeting and the project using the resource availability on the meeting day)
A work around, in this special case, would then be to directly enter real work for the resource on the meeting, and set left work to zero (to avoid to plan extra work)

If I recalculate all projects involved on this disponibility problem, why the problem is not solved ? because if my understanding is right, all meeting will plan first (due to the priority 1).

All meeting are planned first, even before activities with priority 1 (it is a calculation rule).
If it does not work, check what is planned for the resource on the day, check that the corresponding planning has not "fix planning" checked.

I checked it and no "fixed planning" is enabled. It is a strange behavior. 👿

So for me, any meeting should be planned...as a meeting. My workaround is create a task.

Anybody has/had the same problem about meeting??? because we installed ProjeQtOr on a laptop just to test, and we have the same behavior... :silly:

Happy new year!!! :woohoo:

Really cannot reproduce your issue.
Could you try and reproduce the case on the demo (demo.projeqtor.org) ?

I have a quite similar problem and so I want to be sure to well understand something in your answer.
You said : "

But if resource is already busy on another project this may be blocking. In this case, you must find a way to plan together both projects (the project of the meeting and the project using the resource availability on the meeting day)

--> How to "plan together both projects"? What means concretely?

A work around, in this special case, would then be to directly enter real work for the resource on the meeting, and set left work to zero (to avoid to plan extra work)

--> I don't understand the end of the sentences : " and set left work to zero (to avoid to plan extra work)".
I like avoiding to plan extra work but don't manage to do it.

All the best
Christophe

You must be project leader of both projects are replan both project in the same time : running planning calculation either for all your projects (select no project) or for parent project if both are sub projects of same project.

If you assigned 1 day for the meeting, and want to fix 0,8, you can enter 0,8 directly on real work allocation.
But then you sdhould set left work to zero (on real work allocation screen also) otherwise 0,2 extra days will try to be planned.
