Hi,
we are experiencing problems with the Real Work Allocation page :
On my projects, I can't see the parent project anymore. :
For example I have the following project tree :
Proj1
|-Sub-Proj 1
|-Parent_act1
|-act1
|-act2
|-Parent_Act2
|-act3
|-Sub-Proj 2
[...]
Proj2
|-Sub-Proj 3
|-Parent_act1
|-act1
|-act2
|-Parent_Act2
|-act3
|-Sub-Proj 4
[...]
And in Real Work Allocation I see :
|-Sub-Proj 1
|-Parent_act1
|-act1
|-act2
|-Parent_Act2
|-act3
|-Sub-Proj 2
[...]
|-Sub-Proj 3
|-Parent_act1
|-act1
|-act2
|-Parent_Act2
|-act3
|-Sub-Proj 4
[...]
=> I have lost the names of the main projects (Proj1 and Proj2).
It is now real complicated to know if an activity belongs to Proj1 or Proj2.
Is there a way to display again the main projects ?
Thanks !
This bug is related to the profile => Only admin profile encounter this problem.
Strange ?
Are you sure it's not the opposit : only admin can see complete hierarchy.
The normal way, for users with visibility to "data of affected projects", is that if user is affected to project Sub-Proj 1, he can see it and sub projects. But he has no visibility of top project : it is a security constraint.
For instance, if you have a structure such as :
Project 1 : The projects I love => Project 1.1 : Project X => Project 1.2 : Project Y Project 2 : The projects I hate => Project 2.1 : Project Z
I'm sure you won't be happy if users affected to project 2.1 are able to see top project...
This is the profile admin who does not see the top of the project
I acord with your vision constraints do not see the top projects if it is not affected.
In my example it is the structure of the project leader. So it is assigned to the project up (project 1 & 2)
Only on the "imputation view", the admin can not see the names of "project 1" and "project 2"? Strange
Hi,
Issue is confirmed : Ticket #971 recorded.
Admin don't see top project if not affected to it...
To get the view, waiting for fixing, just affect admin to top project.
