Hi,
I'm seeking clarification on why duplicate assignments are permitted in the same activity. Could someone please provide insights? Please refer to the attachment for reference.

Hi,
Duplicate assignment can be used in several ways: additional clause to a contract, managing overtime, managing differents functions of an assignment, etc.

Hi,
Is it possible to restrict duplicate assignment in same activity? Is there any configuration available that can control this thing in our case, as it is being duplicated sometimes by mistake and it shows double entry for same activity in timesheet.

the only way to limit assignments is access. Either you can assign or you can't.
We do not offer blocking of duplicate entries
