Hello,

In the screenshots you provide, I don't see real work or planned work, but only validated work.

I remind you that the dates indicated for the validated work are only informative and do not take into account in the calculation of the charges except in some very specific planning modes.

Except the report that you want to view only shows planned or real work. The real being the priority.

If no work is entered in the planned work, it is probably because you did not recalculate the planning.
Click on the calculation button or check the automatic calculation box so as not to forget to recalculate when you are on this page.

And finally, if the planning mode you have chosen is the "as soon as possible" mode then there is a good chance that the 2 days of charges that you have entered will be planned in August. The "handled" checkbox is dated August 19, this gives a little clue.

After recalculating, check the planning for this resource by right-clicking directly on the activity bar. You will then see where these two days have been positioned.

Thanks for your answer. I had calculated the planning but as soon there si some work assigned (in my case two days) the planned dates are not filled.

If i recalculate again and use the right click i have the message : no date to show, the planning need to be calculated.

I checked the manual and through the forum but it's still unclear for me what i'm missing.

Hi,

It seems that the report you are talking about displays only done work ( real work indicated on time sheet) and not planificated work.

Hi,

i found the problem why the planned work wasn't displayed. The ressource was booked with too many activities at a rate of 100% so it wasn't possible to planned anything.

As there is no specific warning, it's difficult to find the origin of the mistake when a ressource is working on lots of projects at the same time. On the right clic on the taks in the planning, something like "work impossible to plan, the ressource is overbooked" could be useful.

Thanks for your answers.

Yes of course your resource can not be planned everywhere on all activities per day at the same time.
Be careful ! The rate you talk about do not react into projeqtor calculation on resource's planning as you explain. You are wrong on what you have written.

Do you know where is it possible to find the rules of the automatic calculations for the planned work and all the constraints that influence it ?

I couldn't find it in the manual. Thanks a lot.

Maybe you did not dig deep enough...

All rules for planning calculation are explained during our training sessions 😉
