Hi,
Looking like resource planning limitation of projects to load is not connected to the max projects to display. In attempt to load even 10 sub projects it shows empty screen - no warning at all. Can you please tell us where this limitation set? If it suppose to be the same as max projects to display then it is a bug

Which version ? V3.0.1 ?
If V3.0.1, you may be facing fixed issue.

Check for double quotes in activities or projects name ...
If issue comes from double quotes, it is fixed in V3.0.2.
