Hello Babynus,

The current settings on the "Versions" is a little incomplete and
Thus, it is difficult to fill the following fields:
- Entry into service:
- End date:

In fact, in most cases, it involves the following steps:
- 1. Design / Specifications
- 2. development
- 3. Functional and technical tests
- 4. Into production
- 5. Entry into service

However, the first 4 steps preceding the date of "entry into service" ...

Question: At what stage is, according to you, the date "entry into service"?

cordially

I would say 5, but it all depends on your processes.

What you may take into account is that when a version is "Entered into service" you cannot defined on any item this version as "target version".
Now, the question oyu must answer is "until when can I flag an item on the version ?".
For instance, if you can register some tickets during production deplyment, then probably it is 5. Otherwise, it may be 4.
