The project selected fpr directories works the other way round.
You go to the directory structure (open the accordion view on Document Part instead of Menu part), select directory, then insert document.
Document will be set by sefaut on the selected directory (it's working as if you insert new file on a file browser view) and if defaut project is set for directory, it is set by defaut on document.

I understand. But if you have many directories, you must look all the list to find the right one.

If it were possible to "apply" the filter with the selected project, the list would be shorter. What do you think about ?

But it's not as simle as it seems and it's important to analyse impact first : will restrict list in a way that oes not exist.
Today it is possible to store a document in a folder not dedicated to the project. With this option, it would not.
