This might be dumb question:
In my 9.0.4 installation, the Activity Stream shows lots of an object's history, including events like sent mails it triggered.
I agree this can be useful at times, but more often I'd like to have some kind of "Message Stream" instead which focuses just on new notices / messages added to an object like a Ticket.
I have vague memories that the Activity Stream looked more like a message stream in the past, or maybe in misconfigured something in the meantime...
Is there a way to filter the Activity Stream for messages, or to replace on object's Activity Stream by a pure "Message Stream" / "Notice Stream"?

There is an option in : User Settings > Interface Behavior > show only notes on activity stream
