Hello,
I'm facing an anoying behaviour, probably linked to a configuration error on my side but i'm unable to get out with this issue.
I'm managing several projects for several customers, and usually offer an access to Projeqtor to my customer in order they can follow the gantt evolution.
Yesterday a customer (with external project manager user profile) reported to me that he was able to see all the projects declared in Projeqtor through the project filter list (on the top left of the screen).
He of course can not access to other project content, but he has this visibility on other projects titles (including those concerning other customers).
The user is only affected to one project (his own project), How can i limit the filter visibility to his project only ?
Thanks
Ok, I found my parameter issues which was at Specific Acces configuratuion level for External project manager (i however thik there is a bug here since the values was setted to "No element" and i changed it to "only his elements". to solve the issue.
ticket #1946 recorded to investigate
could you tell which specific parameter was concerned ?
Sure, I changed the following three parameters from "No Element" to "Own Elements": (Not sure all three of them are concerned)
-Access on real work allocation for resources
-Validate real work
-Access on diary for resources
NB: Thanks for this powerful tool, it helped my company to get ISO9001 certification last week !!
Very strange...
I cannot reproduce.
And I'm almost sure that if you replace specific access to "no element", issue will not reproduce any more.
But what I discovered is that if user is affected to one project with "Administrator" profile, he will gain visibility of all projects in the Project selector.
It is exactly what you faced.
So I think it could be this kind of issue.
