[#8247]

hello
I have projects with activity and people imputing worked time on activities : so far so good
I have products and each product is linked with 0 1 ou N projects , but a project can only be linked to 1 product.

I would like to know for each product how many worked time has been inputed on each project linked to this product.

Why ?  : The products are my softwares : i want to know the time spent on a particular projetc but i also need the time spent on a software (on all the projects linked to this product)

There doesn't seem to be a report showing that

I thought that maybe I could export some data and do the computation in a spreadsehhet but when I export to spreadsheet the projects it doesn't show the linked products and when I export the products it doesn't show the linkd projects ...

any idea on how I could get this information ?

regards

Hello.

why not just put it in a parent project (which would represent the software) which would encompass each project. You could consolidate each project but also all of them ?

I see what you mean

It is a good workaround and it would work but not in my situation : I already have a quite complex project hierarchy with 4 or 5 levels and for a given product (software) the linked projects are in different part of the hierarchy

This is why I tried to use the products

Hi,

Apply a filter on list of projects to select projects depending on product (you can record a dynamic filter to select product when appying the filter).
Then export the list to CSV, including work data : here you are, you can sum work
