Is there a way to turn the alert notification at the bottom right corner off?

No, not in one step...
Only way is to desable the alerts generation : goto Controls & automations => Indicators and delete or disabled all indicatir line.
For ongoing alerts, admin has to possibility in the administration screen to delete all ongiong alerts.
