Hello all,
On project level the field validated work is greyed out.
The project is not handled/done/closed
Time is booked on activities, as you can see.
The question is:
Due to what actions will be this field greyed out, and cannot be edited anymore.
Can I reverse this, to edit the field later on again?

Have you set parameter "Consolidate validated work & cost" with "Always" or "Only is set"?
If so, this is the normal behaviour with this functionality.
For edited this field again (at project level), you must erase all validated work value for all sub-elements.
Resetting the parameter "Consolidate validated work & cost" to "Never" is not enough.
Validated work is lock when it is consolidated from sub-items.
If you wish to be able to manually enter validated at each level, just change consolidation mode of validated work (on global parameters screen)
