I'm working at the moment on mail over event creation (ticket, etc...), I notice you can send the email to "Followers", but I can't find any details regarding this in a user manual.
How does this work ?
Moreover, do you have a newer version of the manual (I'm using version 6 or so)

Take a look at section Control&Automation.
Follower is a resource how subscribed to follow the item.
The version I have is 8.0.6, I cannot see the logo "follow" on tickets, or project or activity.
How can I activate it ? I keep on searching in the user manual but can't find the info.
This is defined in specific access righjts, parameter "Can defined others as followers" (text in english is not accurate 🙁 ).
For project memeber profile, default is "noone", so these users cannot subscribe.
Change to "himself" to grant subscription
