Hi,
Concerning the field "context", as used for Tickets: how is the list of available contexts calculated ? (those which are shown in the drop-down box)
If I understand correctly:
Let's say I have :
- context C1 linked to project A
- context C2 linked to project B
- context C3 not linked to any project
- resource Bob is affected to project B only
1) If Bob created a ticket in project B, the list of available contexts will be (C2 and C3).
2) If Admin created a ticket in project A, the list of available contexts will be (C1, C2 and C3).
3) The list of available contexts for a ticket is not filtered according to the project selected in top-left filter box
Is that correct ?
Also, could such an explanation be added to the user manual "context" slide ?
No, this is not correct.
Contexts list is fix, the same for all projects.
It is defined in the "Environmental parameters" => "Context" screen
Apologies, my mistake - I thought you could add a context as a "linked element" to a project, which is what prompted my question. But that's not the case... 😳
