Already planned, butr for affectation to project, not for assignement.

I think it's different.
You assign a resource to a project (regardless of date) but you assigns days with T0.
Planning is linked to workload assigned ?

You assign workload to an activity, but not T0 : T0 is calculated by planning.
If an activity has a fix T0, then use a fix milestone as predecessor.

Fixing when a resource will start to work on an activity would go against planning calculation.

What is interesting is when the resource is affected to the project.

Some resources have external constraints, they can not begin until a fixed date.

I agree. And that's why affectation (to project) start date is a planned evolution.
But there should not be an assignment (to activity) start date for each assignment : it would be a mess to manage, a real slowing in planning calculation, and could lead to very strange planning calculation. Let's keep it simple.

Maybe in your case, but I never met such cases : in my opinion, no more than 2 or 3 resources should be assigned to the same activity. Otherwise, it's a mess to get planning that really means something.

Not from the existing desing of application.
Moreover, when assigning a resource, you must select its function (may not be defined by defaut) and assigned work (may be different for each resource assigned).

Maybe you could describe your real need, because I don't get why you need to frequently assign many resources to many activities.

I am working on "work units" (UO) with several activities and several milestones.
The team can go from 5p to 8p.

To manage projectorria I create one project (template) "work units."
Build the project is easy, but assign each activity 5 to 8p it's very long!!
I would like to simplify assigning.
My idea: Assign a resource (already) or a team. If it is a team, the tool assign to the activity list to resources (includes in the team). This does not affect the overall functioning but simplifies entry to assign. :cheer:

In my opinion, you should not assign many resources to single task.
If you do this, possibly it is to define a team, and you still don't know who will work on the activity. Then, maybe you need to define an abstract resource with capacity of 5 or 8 to plan the activity. The resource who really works on it will just as to be defined as responsible to be automatically assigned.
