First off, I want to thank you and the team for coming up with ProjeQtOr! I really like it have installed on my own servers so I can do my own project management. In fact, I wish I would have found this last year because I could have DEFINITELY used this for one of the classes I was taking on IT Technology Management!
I had a couple of suggestions for ProjeQtOr in regards to the English part of the website. There are some terms that don't translate very well into English because they are False Cognates. An example: French-->Affectations to English-->Affectations. The actual translation for French-->Affectations should be English-->Assignments. There are a few other things throughout the code of ProjeQtOr that need to be changed so that it is more "Anglicized" for the English variant of ProjeQtOr and make it more amenable to folks who are "anglophones". I will also go through the Excel Spreadsheet you have so that it is updated and more accurate for the English portion.
I also actually speak a couple of other languages fluently at varying levels (Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, some French) so I understand very well the need for items that can be translated and used correctly in different languages.

We try to do our best with our own knowledge, but in the core team, we're mostly french speakers...
About affectation, it's true there may be misundestanding and term is possibly not appropriate.
But we tried to find something different from assignment, because asignment is used to relation between Resource and Activity : resource is assigned to activity for a given workload.
So if you can propose a good term to describe relation between Project and Resource, that is not assignment, please share...
