This would be a nice thing...
If you setup a meeting and invite:
Person A
Person B
Person C
And they exist as resources on the system, you also send out meeting requests to them for the dates. Also if you add external people, it will issue requests also.
The request will consist of:
- Name
- Location
- Description
- Attendees
- Time/Date
If I update the meeting, we should send out an updated invite (if possible)
Further work, could be Google Specific whereby you track whether the Google Invites are accepted - But this is much more work I feel and probably only benefit a few... We operate GMAIL for business, but many using this seriously will be using exchange server.

Yes, it is much more work.
But I don't think it should be Google specific (depending on how acceptance is sent back... I really don't know)
