Hi,
I think it would be great if there would be an option to show lists in a hierarchical way. Currently only the 'Planning' view shows a hierarchical structure, but other views will highly benefit from this as well, everywhere were you can specify a top/parent element of the same type like:
-Projects
-Activities
-Requirements
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,

Lists of items cannot reproduce hierarchical structure because :
- they can be sorted on any column
- they can be filtered.
So indentation would not mean anything.
Hi,
I understand the problem with that, but please compare this behaviour with e-mails in e.g. Thunderbird which can also be shown hierarchical while still being filtered and sorted on any column. This works very intuitive.
Otherwise I would be very happy if a hierarchy would only be shown (or an option to show hierarchical) when the list is not filtered and not sorted.
I.e. sorting or filtering always shows a flat list, while sorting on the hierarchical column gives the option to display it hierarchical.
Kind regards,
Remco Poelstra
Request recorded as Ticket #2595.
But due to technical complexity as small improvement brought, I'm not sure it will be done unless sponsored.
