[#1683]

Allow import activities and milestones from MS project Format. Can be a minimalistic import process like activity description, Progress %, initial date, due date.

Request recorded as Ticket #1328.
Not sure it will be implemented or not :
- existing import from csv may be enough (you can easily copy / paste from MS-Project to Excel to generete cvs file)
- I always wanted to avoid bijective import / export with MS-Project as it will be a mess : as planning calculation is greatly different in both tools, export / import results will always have unexpected behavior.

Hi Babynus! isn't it already planned in ticket #1014? (targeted v5.0) or perhaps you're talking about importing different things...

You're right abelinux.
#1328 is duplicate with #1014.
I cancelled #1328.

Thank you guys. Just one last question regarding this subject:

If I import activites from CSV file (copied from MS Project), will Projector use the ExpectedProgress and RealProgress that I've imported to calculate the expected and real progress used by projector? Or do I still need to log the worked hours to calculate the real progress of a activity/project?

No. Progress is always calculated from work.

Or do I still need to log the worked hours to calculate the real progress of a activity/project?

Yes.
